Coffee America (USA) Corporation was organized in 1992 as a New York Corporation for the purpose of trading green coffee.

In 1997 the Company purchased the coffee and cocoa business from Tardivat International (New York) Corporation (est. 1977). All of the Management and Staff of Tardivat were retained and the Company relocated its offices to Tardivat’s, in the heart of the old historic coffee district, in Lower Manhattan.

The Company is one of the leading coffee importers in the United States and Canada. It specializes in coffees from around the world with seventy percent of its volume originating in Latin America.

General Cocoa Co. is the trading arm for cocoa. It has remained one of the leading importers in its field since 1937, specializing in the importation of cocoa beans and cocoa products.

The Company prides itself on the depth of its experience in trading in difficult and volatile commodities.
